Notice of claimed infringement
If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Agent that includes the following (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (or a representative list if there are several);
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it, such as the page URL and a description of the material;
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Notices that do not substantially meet these requirements may not be acted on.
Our response
When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable access to the identified material and, if it was submitted by a user, notify the person who provided it.
Counter-notice
If material you submitted was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send our Designated Agent a counter-notice (17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3)) that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location (URL) where it appeared before removal;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or that person's agent.
We will forward the counter-notice to the original complainant. If the complainant does not tell us within 10 business days that it has filed a court action to restrain the activity, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice, as provided by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(2).
Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts and submission privileges of users who are repeat infringers. A user who is the subject of valid notices on two or more separate occasions within 12 months may be permanently barred from submitting content.
Misrepresentations
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
Material we post ourselves
Some content on this site, such as coaching staff information, is compiled from public sources and credited where appropriate. If you are a rights holder and believe something we posted is not properly licensed, contact our Designated Agent and we will review it.
